Refers to the nickname PonPon from the video game series Patapon premiered in 2007 by Sony. This game is described as a mix of rhythm and strategy. All the characters actions are named as sounds. Example: ponpon patapon allows the character to attack.

PonPuss is used as a nickname/insult to remind the user that he/she is inferior to you in every way.
