cheeto dust

The orange film dust that remains on one's fingers when one has eaten Cheetos Cheese Flavored Snacks. One usually either chooses to use a napkin to remove it, licks it off, and some even choose to wipe it on any available surface to remove it. (See definition for 'Cheeto Dust Etiquette').

If not removed this dust gets all over all your shit and everyone else's. Causing much dismay and can possibly cause OCD-ish type rant triggers.

Dude 1: Hey dude bro, you got Cheeto dust all over my favorite D&D dice. Yea, like not cool. (Incredulous Frown Face)

Dude 2: (Evil chuckle). Sorry, dude.

Dude 1: (Examines all his other belongings that Dude 2 touched.)

Cheems Mindset

Cheems mindset is the reflexive belief that barriers to policy outcomes are natural laws that we should not waste our time considering how to overcome. The term can also be applied to the same "can't do" attitude in non-policy contexts, including business and science.

The term was coined by Jeremy Driver for his newsletter, Normielisation.

He displayed cheems mindset when he said there wouldn't be vaccines for another five years.

Cheek Lift

Lifting one or both cheeks while shitting to prevent the need to wipe afterwards.

Used first in 1942 in WW2 to prevent undergarment soiling on the field, the cheek lift was and still is widely used to this day.

Lt. Splathers: "Johnson! You shit in the foxhole without paper? I suppose you used your hand that you shake mine with, maggot."

Cpl. Williams: "No Sir."

Lt. Splathers: "WELL?"

Cpl. Williams: "Just a cheek lift"

cheese strategy

noun. Gaming. A strategy that seeks to provide means for overcoming a challenge (e.g. a boss fight) not by engaging with the challenge itself but rather by bypassing it altogether. It is oftentimes exploitative of a game's mechanics, taking advantage of oversights in game balance made by the developers to easily deal with an obstacle.

Cheese strategies trivialize challenging content, by either speeding the process up immensely to eliminate the challenge or by making it nigh impossible to fail (e.g. through creating means to infinitely heal oneself). One could distinguish between "fast cheese" and "slow cheese".

Not to be confused with glitch exploits. Cheese strategies always work within the bounds of the game.

A: Hey, I just can't beat this boss, this one move just kills me every time.
B: Oh yeah, I struggled with him too. But there's this cheese strategy using this set of armor and a combination of potions that makes you pretty much invincible so I managed to get past him.

The cat is both here and not here, while simultaneously being neither here, nor there. The cat cannot be nowhere, yet the cat is not everywhere. However, it may be anywhere, but it can only be somewhere. So, where is it?

"C'mon, just give up, already! You've been looking for that thing for hours! You might as well be looking for Schrodinger's Cheshire Cat!"

"But it has to be here. I've already looked everywhere, and I haven't found it anywhere. Perhaps if I start looking nowhere, I may end up finding it somewhere!"

"I swear you've gone mad, Bro."
