A break stand is a technique used in an automatic transmission rear wheel drive vehicle to squeal and smoke the tires. The technique is executed by putting one foot on the break and the other foot on the gas. The brakes hold the front tires in place and the power to the rear tires will overpower the brakes and the tires will start spinning, squealing and smoking.
