Get the somber citizen mug.Highschool in West LA well known for shutting down after only lasting 1 year in 2016. The school was forced to shut down in september due to them being half a million dollars in debt and under-enrolled. All 116 students were forced to find a new school within a week. The principal of the school warned her “PTA” parents (Weren’t actually the PTA but her inner circle of parents) ahead of time that the school would be shut down before the final decision was publically made. She used her connection to neighboring charter school New West to get the the PTA’s kids in. It was widely noticed that all of the students whom she helped were white, and the students who found out later when all of the inner-circle parents kids had already left to other schools, were primarily black and hispanic.
Most of the students who attended city high also attended the prior school, city charter middle school. Small school but everyone in West LA knows someone who knows someone who went to city school during this time.
All of the students from City High School (2016) are right now either crackheads, popular pretty instagram girls, pregnant, drug dealers, GHETTO or fatherless.
