Slang for the city of Winnipeg, Manitoba (Canada). A combination of the city name "Winnipeg" and the season of "winter" this is a very appropriate word because the city of Winnipeg is very fucking cold for approx. 6 months of the year. many Winnipeg refugees who have fled the city use the slang name instead of the original to remind themselves of how shitty they weather can be.

Winter-een-mas

Winter-een-mas is a holiday started by brain frostbite of Tim Buckley's very own Ethan. It was a holiday for everyone to serve him, but fortunately, it has changed from that beginning idea.

Winter-een-mas is a gamer's holiday. The Winter-een-mas season lasts all of January, but the holiday is the last week of January, January 25-31. It emphasizes the companionship of gamers. However, gift-giving is not recommended, as it may ruin the holiday spirit. Small, handmade gifts are quite alright, though.

Celebrate Winter-een-mas by playing videogames with your friends, by wearing interesting gaming clothing/accesories, and especially by writing letters of thanks to those wonderful developers who make the games!

Winterguard

Winterguard is the sport of the arts. Girls (and guys) work for months before compitions even start. Sometimes even before they are scheduled. Members of the team work their butts off spinning flag, rifle, and sabre. They dance, memorize drill, and work their butts off to get in shape. People say it isn't sport. You tell me next time i'm at practice and i'm doing conditioning. Also, when it's the 'off season' (known as fall and summer season) they are also working. Then they are working with the band. Which pretty much is the same practice schedule. It's intense! (oh...and we're NOT drill team)

Little girl: wow...look at the drill team

Winter Tears

When the cold weather or a gust of wind forces your eyes to water and hot tears to spill down your cheeks, prompting people to ask "What's the matter?!"

Winter Tears could be an acceptable to use if you don't actually want people to know you're crying. However, during an episode of genuine Winter Tears, there are those that won't believe you weren't sobbing. Thus, the Winter Tears phenomenon is dreaded by young males.

"What's the matter?"
"Don't worry, it's just winter tears"
