a group of the most popular kids at school who control everything at school.

The ones with the best parties, where everyone who is anyone is there.

Anyone can say they throw wild parties but when you have a bunch of nobodies at the party and you're not popular it means nothing.

Once in awhile there's a small clique even more popular than the preps, usually the group will consist of 3-4 uber hot girls that have banded together and run the school.

One may be homecoming queen, another model type and these rank even higher than the preps considering they are better looking and everyone knows they rule the school.

But overall, as social groups go, prep is the most popular and are the best at school.

preps drive nice cars, have lots of friends and look good.

I would just like to say that most people who complain about preps being "conformist" actually conform to the people around them, just differently. For example, the "outcast" kids like to pretend they're oh so different from the preps by all wearing black and other random shit that just makes them look plain scary. Then they sit there, in a mob of black and complain that all the preppy people look the same. "I feel bad for the preps because they think they're so cool, but really they aren't ever true to themselves." Bullshit. You aren't true to yourself sitting there emulating you friends in everyway possible, including their prep-bashing. Nonconformists like to pretend that they don't judge people by what they wear, but then they go and refuse to talk to someone just because they're wearing a fucking polo. Also, everyone naturally conforms to the people they hang out with. It is human nature and complaining about that is just immature.

That's all I have to say.

When the teens of the world think of preps they think of:

snotty, bitchy, cocky, stuck-up, athletic, american eagle, abercrombie and fitch, aero, gap, pretty boys and girls who think they are on TOP of the world because they dress better than the rest of the school and happen to have more friends and more confidence..listen to music on MTV and radio of the time.

in reality..some are like this, but some are not, you cant judge every single person who hangs out with the preps to be exactly like this, this is called styereotyping and if your complaining about the preps and how they stereotype you..wel look at what YOU are doing

some preps arent like this, some preps cant afford to even shop at abercrombie, and not all of them are rich, some are really nice and are open to all kinds of people, and not all of them listen to music on mtv and the radio
