A homonym of the word "deferred"; a mangled colloquialism of the word "deferred.

Used when the word "deferred" is too much to bear.

*Regarding institutions of higher learning and any form of early admissions process.

Pessimist:
Not rejected... yet.

Optimist:
Not accepted... yet. You'll get in, yes you will. =D

Example:

Dear _____:
After carefully reviewing your application, we have decided to deferret your admission to the regular applicant pool.

Defermination

Determination to come up with an amazing facebook status, no matter how long you have to sit there thinking of one. Which is usually minutes, hours, or in some cases, days.

My quest to think of a great facebook status wasn't going well, but I had to so defermination that I sat at my computer for three whole days, until my neighbor called and asked why I hadn't left my house in so long.
