The high-pitched nasal sound that is heard by non-Americans while one American speaks loudly in the background, generally heard when traveling through a beautiful place far, far away from the U.S. (such as Italy). Generally though, for some inexplicable reason there is always backsound.

Oh my god man, I was grilling up some steaks the other night and my wife was being such a Backseat Barbequer the entire time. It sucked!
