While subscribing is often seen as a way to encourage channels, it doesn't magically ease the duration of screen time your parents allow you to have. Similar to tipping at a restaurant, subscribing YouTube channels is a gesture of appreciation, not an indication of one's capacity to consume more content.
I became a subscriber to 600 YouTube channels, but my parents still think I'm planning to spend all day on YouTube!
