a code name for a female period used so males don't understand what is going on. 'scrimpens' can also be used to describe pads and sometimes tampons.

John is such a scrimjour; he left a huge mess in the kitchen for us to clean up.

An excuse to have a day off work without warning, reasons being bad knee, miscarriage 3 of 4 this month, cant afford to get to work cos im fat, being too fat and any other reason you can come up with thats makes no real sense
