A term often used in fast paced gaming to shorten the word, 'Revive'. It originated in the hit game, Fortnite that released in 2017. It means to bring a teammate back into the fight or revive them after being gunned down or sprayed by an opposing force.

A Mexican Revive is when you slap the shit out of someone (presumably knocked over or unconscious) so hard that they wake up and immediately resume whatever it is that they’re doing
