Poo.cus.sion \pü-kə-shən\

When one incurs a concussion upon smelling feces and experiences moments of extreme and ambiguous disorientation (not to be confused with 'Poocushion')

Example One:
Thaddius - "Hey man, you weren't making any sense yesterday after you left the bathroom at Chili's"

Cam - "...oh no, I must have suffered a Poocussion"

Example Two:
After experiencing a severe case of Poocussion of the most seldom occurrence Frank stumbled around the apartment for the rest of the afternoon mumbling to himself.

Frank - "I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, aahh I'm gonna...gonna, gonna (sigh)"

permission to blow tubes

Nautical. Requesting permission to blow hot steam on the tubes in a naval superheated boiler. Often thought to refer to a sailor by the name of Tubes, but this is not correct. The permission is needed because there will be a release of some smoke when tubes are blown.

Engineering Officer: Request permission to blow tubes, sir.
Officer of the Deck: Permission granted.

A method of persuasion where in an effort to persuade their friends to do something, one repeats their friends name, until the friend gives in a agrees.

Brant: Hey Garth are you going to Panda Express for lunch?
Garth: um.....

Garth: Ok, I will go
Brant: YES!! The Thayer Persuasion Method works again!
