They have NO connection with the word 'nigger'.They were worshiped in hinduisem and budhisem - India, China,...Naga means 'snake'. Also, several human or elephant tribes were named 'Nagas'Female naga is 'nagi' or 'nagini' (Do you know Harry Potter?)
