A temporary increase in an individuals arrogance, typically showing lack of restraint in restraining one's personal egocentric tendencies. Sometimes consisting of the momentary collapse of the humility of an individual.

Mayci: "Dude. I'm so awesome."
Seth: "Bro, you totally just had an ego-spike."

inflated ego

Someone who not only has A VERY BIG AMOUNT OF CONFIDENCE but maybe just a bit too much. AKA When the ego is "inflated" hence the name, it means its bigger then the norm, which could get obnoxious.

Bill- hey i like how you dont care what ppl think and the fact that your confident
Alex- yeah i just dont care. i'm confident
Bill- yeah you are
Alex- nobody should be inconfident
Bill-yeah
Alex-the world should be more like me
Bill-well uhm
Alex- yeah thats it. the world would be a better place if everyone
was more like me

Alter Ego

1) the opposite of who you usually are and your presonality (e.g. a hippie's alter ego would be a fascist dictator)
2. the bad side of a person that may come to life at anytime, switching your personality (this is fantasy, though some people may believe they have an alter-ego in which they can't control).
3) A person who you aren't ut you act as sometimes as though you have transformed (e.g Eminem's alter ego is Slim Shady)
