writing binge

An occurrence in which a writer writes for an extremely long period of time, such as an hour or more at a time. The writer may take breaks between binges and resume writing.

It is often used during NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) or any WriMo (Writing month) to increase word count.
Last night I had a six hour writing binge.
