In a first person shooter, the act of spawning in a strategic position which allows you to pwn uber nubbage. Although no one can control where they spawn, hackspawning is often a strategic advantage for the team who is lucky enough to do so. It is often favored to hackspawn close to the enemy's flag, KOTH position, etc.

backspace contest

When to people are typing in a chat at the same time, and both backspace immediately once they see the other person is typing. The person to backspace the slowest (the chat message says they are still typing) is usually the one forced to send the next message.

Jake_H: Hey Jane I just wanted to say I liked spending time with you a lot last night and that naught stuff was great.

Jane103: I really like you too, we should get together soon cause our last hook up was so much fun, however it was kind of weird...

(Both are typing) Both backspace contest immediately to see what the other one has to say.

backspacer

When IMing with someone, you notice in the status bar that the person is typing, but after a minute only replies with LOL! This may be done because the typer starts a thought but doesn't want to get into it.

me: ...Minas Tirith is the castle at Gondor
drew: *yawn hehe
me: wha!?
drew...after typing for 2 full minutes: lol
me: Backspacer!
drew: bah!
