openly monogamous

Openly Monogamous
The practice of having a sexual relationship with only one partner during a period of time while disclosing to one another other sexual relationships and/or interests’ thus promoting open communication and furthering trust.
Also: Open Monogamy
We are openly monogamous and tell one another when we desire sex or pursue a sexual interest outside of our relationship so as not to be deceptive. This way no one has hurt feelings that come about when a partner cheats. We often find that we share a mutual desire or interest and incorporate it into our own sexual relationship. If not, we trust one another to have our needs met elsewhere and return to the intensity of our relationship charged with the sexual energy of the experience.

Fogey/fogy /fougi/ sl. (early 18C+, orig. Scot) old-fashioned, stuck-in-the mud.
Person with old fashioned ideas which he is unwilling to change: Come to the disco and stop being such an old fogey!
You think me an old fogeyand an old tory, his thoughtful voice said. I saw three generations since O’Connel’s time. I remember the famine. Do you know that the orange lodges agitated for repeal of the union twenty years before O’Connel did or before the prelates of your communion denounced him as a demagogue? You fenians forget some things. (James Joyce, Ulysses. Penguin Books,1992. p. 38)
