Tonk-Tonks

Any person whose appearance or disposition suggests they may be less evolved than the average modern human. The common tonk-tonk will often be found in a multicolor japanese car with tilted rear wheels (due to improperly lowering its body without adjusting the suspension) blasting either reggaeton or doofdoof music (or any other primitive- or tribal-sounding monotonous soundtrack with simple and repetitious beats.) Many tonk-tonks wear loose-fitting clothing, seemingly because such garments remind them of the animalhide wrappings their grandparents crafted in the jungles and pastoral hills of the remote islands from which most tonk-tonks originate. Most tonk-tonks tend to have success in the bartering of goods (usually drugs) as their mental resources are geared toward the nomadic hunter-gatherer mentality. They also usually have some type of legal trouble following them, as their simple brains cannot grasp the concept of laws or rules. When one encounters the common tonk-tonk in its natural habitat (the club, fastfood restaurants, sportsbars) it is wise not to use complicated verbiage or gestures, as tonk-tonks are frightened of things they cannot understand and may initiate primal defense instincts, resulting in frantic utterances in their monkey-language and sometimes bitemarks. They can be restrained by employing well-aimed severe kicks to the face, especially once the tonk-tonk has fallen to the ground.
E.M.F. likes to yell at the Tonk-Tonks in his gwala gwala dialect because they think he can talk to their deceased ancestors who learned the secrets of sneaking past the border patrol and avoiding capture by the I.N.S.

Honky Tonk Angel

First popularized by country singer, Hank Thompson in his 1976 hit "Wild Side of Life", Honky Tonk Angel refers to a beautiful woman, somewhat out of place in a dirty bar, with a casual attitude toward sex but kind and pure at heart. Also known to be fun-loving and attracted to party life. The Honky Tonk Angel is attractive and kind, often making it easy for men to fall for them, but ultimately aren't able to commit to a monogamous relationship and find life as a housewife boring. In the song, Hank tells of how he fell for one such woman who broke his heart when she left him to return to "the wild side of life". Female country singer Kitty Wells sang an answer song to The Wild Side of Life only 2 months after its release called " God Didn't Make Honky Tonk Angels". In the song, she spoke of how men shouldn't blame Honky Tonk Angels for their disloyal ways as "most every heart that's ever broken was because there always was a man to blame." She talks about how she used to be a trustful wife but her husband thought he was still single, citing his wandering around for the reason she became a Honky Tonk Angel. Both songs topped the Billboard at #1 that year and became twinned classics, setting off a number of songs, albums and other references to Honky Tonk Angel.
I'll go find comfort in the arms of a Honky Tonk Angel and forget you for a little while at least.

honky tonk special

A trashy, slutty woman who hangs out at country bars and has no qualms about random hookups, even with married men. Can be relied upon any night for an easy chuck with no strings attached.
Brad: "Sup dude. You look haggard today."
Sam: "Yeah man, I just came back from Amber's place. Linda broke up with me yesterday and I went to the bar and had a few shots, and you know how that ends up. Spoiler alert: I banged her."
Brad: "A little honky tonk special action, huh? Talk about haggard! She's more haggard than Merle. And she's been around the block more times than the mailman. You might want to go to the doctor and get checked out."
Sam: "You can say that again. It itches."

"Sure enough about closing time, I'm about stoned out of my mind, and I end up with some honky-tonk special I found
Just as sure as the morning sun come, thinking of my sweet girl at home, and I need to get whiskey bent and hell bound."
-Hank Williams, Jr., "Whiskey Bent and Hellbound"

"Honky tonk special, you're not my daddy's wife."

Honky Tonk Women

"Honky Tonk Women" is a 1969 hit song by The Rolling Stones. Released as a single on 4 July 1969 in the UK and a week later in the US, it topped the charts in both nations.

A Honky Tonk Woman is often a dancer in a bar down south, who may also work as a prostitute.
I met a gin soaked, bar-room queen in memphis,
She tried to take me upstairs for a ride.
She had to heave me right across her shoulder
cause I just cant seem to drink you off my mind.

Honky Tonk

A loud, rowdy bar that plays 'honky tonk' country music. Typically full of drunken hillbillies having a good ole' time. To go out 'honky tonkin' is to go out on the town to honky tonk bars and get drunk.
Sam likes to stay out at the honky tonk to 3 in the morning.
