phatbox 

An obsolete music storage/playback device. Used mainly with Volkswagen and Audi original equipment stereo systems (but, it does have other uses).

Originally sold for hundreds of dollars, until demand for the unit was so low, one could be bought for around $100.

Phatbox is no longer in production.

I can't believe I bought this Phatbox. I would rather have an Ipod!

A phat MacBook. For example, one that has been heavily upgraded, or has been modified in some visual or non-visual way.
