the twitters

Similar to the word "jitters", the twitters indicate a form of social intensity symptomatic of someone posting tweets far too frequently on Twitter. In adjective form, "twittery".
"Richard's posted 45 tweets in the past hour - somebody's got the twitters."

"Sheila's got a proper case of the twitters - she's updated damn near 100 times since lunch time.

twittering

A word by people who don't actually use twitter and are probably 20 years too old to be using twitter in the first place. Whenever used, they are referring to the word "tweet", but learned about twitter from a day-time talk show hosted by a 40-year-old woman who wants to tell parents what their kids are -really- doing every week.

Brian: Hey, are you twittering?
John: No, I'm tweeting that one more person who has no idea of what twitter is just commented on it.

twittering

Glib approach to a complex problem. Skimming along the surface. Simple-minded approach. Using shortcuts and platitudes.
While millions lost their homes to foreclosures, it seemed like Congress was mainly twittering. There were no signs of active, meaningful assistance.

Nero twittered as Rome burned.

Twittercism

What Twitterites do to Facebookers...
Mocking the status use of Facebook as opposed to Twitter
He twittercised her status on Facebook as being too mundane.

That is an obvious twittercism of Facebook.

Twitterbomb

When people following you on twitter get mobile device updates from your tweets. Most humorous when they are all in the same room.
During our meeting, I tweeted how bored I was and unknowingly sent a twitterbomb to everyone in the room.
