You cant really explain depression....its different for all of us....is lyk a state of utter despair and sadness. A void that covers you in despair. Depression affects the way you think....its like being isolated inside yourself... you cant get out until its too late.

manic depresion 

Manic depression is a bipolar mental disorder with varying periods of high highs and low lows. Sufferers of manic depression have both depresion and anxiety. Sufferers also sometimes have mood swings (happy one minute and depressed or scared another minute). see anxiety and also depression.

Those with manic depression often will have anxiety attacks for a period of time followed by a period of depression.
