A Dellertrosexual will use the term metrosexual as a means of hiding his true nature. In most cases the Dellertrosexual eventually does come out of the closet later in life. Dellertrosexuals are often caught wearing a bit of makeup, such as eyeliner and mascara, prompting the question amongst his peers: "maybe he was born with it...but maybe its Maybelline".

While a metrosexual may shave his chest., a Dellertrosexual will proudly admit to shaving his arms as well.

A metrosexual is generally well dressed, while a Dellertrosexual will change his shirt often more than three times before leaving the house, just for a night out with the guys.
