I have traveled to many places around the US and believe me...there are REDNECKS and racism everywhere.If alabama is sooo bad...why are my friends from up north moving down here to escape urban life???? mmm....

Alabama is the best state in the United States. I've lived here for most of my life. The media characterizes Alabama as nothing but a bunch of hicks who wear overalls has a confederate flag and screws their sisters. In fact, every state has that whether the admit it or not.Everyone thinks we are racists but we are not. Down here everybody understands each other and gets along. You can't find that in places like L.A. and New York and such. College football is god down here. It's where during the fall a holiday is every saturday when Alabama plays. Anyone who is someone in Alabama knows who Paul "Bear" Bryant is. We hate Orange and Blue together because of Auburn. The Iron Bowl is one of the biggest days of the year.Familes friends and hosehoulds are divided once a year for this game. Everyone grills out and has plenty of beer. Alabama is where we have fun mudd riding and such. Also..Alabama has some of the most gorgeous girls in the states besides the Georgia Peaches.

Alabama is not full of rednecks,racism and farms. I have lived here all my live and I have not seen a farm yet. It is also well known for college football. Football is a religion in alabama. So everyone dissing alabama can suck a fat dick. No suck an Alabamians dick bitch. The girls here are not bad. I have never heard of someone marring there family member. Alabama 

A south eastern state. I live in Alabama and there definitely ARE rednecks, not much racism, (actually a lot of blacks and Mexicans reside here), tons of pick up trucks and camoflauge, trailors, and hot, sticky weather. Good food, fat people. Alabama is the fattest state. It's peaceful for the most part. It is mostly republicans and anti-abortionists. Not to mention Bush lovers, but it's not too bad. There are, believe it or not, some cool people here. Probably 85% Christians. Not too many mullets, but a lot of bad dressers and 80's hair. I won't live here forever. No one should.

Alabama is pretty, but definitely not the most beautiful place in America. See Boulder, Colorado.
