Jane cut John off on the freeway so he looked up her license plate. Found where she lived and gave her a fresh cincinatti hood ornament.

Cohoes hood ornament 

Resulting from a domestic dispute, a woman climbs onto the hood of her newly ex boyfriend’s car. He decides to not let that stop him and ends up on the highway in Cohoes with his ex clinging to the hood and screaming obscenities at him.

Oh shit, look at that, a Cohoes hood ornament. Been a minute since I’ve seen one of those.

alabama tree ornament 

A racial slur for a black person. Gets its name because in the 1800s and early 1900s black people were often lynched and hung.

Back home we would call Lamar an Alabama tree ornament.
