A webcomic written by Daniel Shive that flawlessly blends cartoonish nonsense with an interesting, engaging plot.

It takes some pretty decent writing to make you actually empathize with the characters of any story. El Goonish Shive is the only webcomic to achieve this effect.

Goofiest

Something a person does that is considered 'goofy' but the biggest goofy thing someone does can be known as there 'goofiest' moment.

A Goofiest act made by someone where for example they jump off a wall like an idiot and swing there arms & legs around in the air.

goofius maximus 

Faux latin used in order to describe a situation where the goofiness has reached it's maximal potential within either a conversation, a show or simply by the viewing of memes. Or when you're not really mentally sober.

This word can also be used in reference to others as a type of name.

Example 1:

Michael: "Bro, what the hell was that LMAO?"
Arwen: "That your momma on the mic, bro? Why she sounding like that?"
Alex: "Come on guys, it's not that funny."
Arwen: "Bro, she be sounding like goofius maximus up in there"

Example 2:

William: "Yo, check out this meme I just found"
Henry: "Why are they walking like that?"
William: "I don't know but it's goofy as hell."
Henry: "literally goofius maximus."

Someone who engages in inappropriate, silly, or dumb behavior, usually innocently. Derived from 'Goofus' in the Goofus and Gallant stories in Highlights for Children.

I was such a goofus for keeping my cell phone on during the movie.
