A term giving to those who are not of Asian decent, but who prefer Asian Women or Men over other races. It appears to have been created by others who do not like the attention that Asian women or men receive from non-Asians as a way to attempt to disgrace, belittle and insult them. Those who use the term usually appear to currently have or did have problems with staying in or finding relationships of their own, have low self esteem, or some other personal issue, and like most insults only used to create an impression that the name caller is better than the one they are calling the name of. Usually it is either Asian men who have not had much luck dating within their own race but desperately wish to, or women of other races who use it because a man they like does not like them and is dating or seeking to date an Asian woman. Those with the most anger issues who use asiaphile as a verbal insult ,will often dismiss any conceivable reason no matter how truthful or fact based , as to why someone of another race wishes to date an Asian man or woman. Yet, these same people usually have no problem with or use any such insulting term with such violent vigor for others who prefer to date other races outside of their own, as long as they not dating Asians. They are clinically sometime referred to as” Narcissistic Racial Activist” , “ Intra Racial Moral Psychopath “, or “ Jealous”.

1. A non-Asian who is either primarilly (or exclusively) attracted sexually to East or Southeast Asians. Reasons for this attraction can vary. Not to be confused with a person who has Asian fetish. Depending on the variation, an asiaphile's attraction can either be normal or an obsession, though as stated above, the motives behind this attraction play an important role.

Carl is white and finds Asian women attractive. Most of his girlfriends have been asian. He is an asiaphile.

(noun); used towards a person. It is a person (typically a caucasian male) that is obsessed with asian women no matter which country, as long as she is asian. Most of the time enjoys anime and learns Japanese (most of the time) for no reason other than to hit on Japanese girls. Claims to be knowledgeable about the asian culture but cannot tell the difference between a Japanese/Korean/Chinese woman. Will only date Asian women, are completely and utterly obsessed with asian women.

"Oh my god that guy just hit on me but I KNOW he's an asiaphile!"

Often the subject of racism by Asian males, an asiaphile is a non-Asian person who has a deep love, and caring for Asian females and the beauty they posses.

White Male: That women is very hot, I love Asian females.
Asian Male: You can't say that, you are only supposed to date white females, all Asian females are for me and me only, you dirty Asiaphile!

A white man who'se only contact with Asian women has been as waitresses and images in the media of prostitutes, madams, more waitresses and princesses of exotic, far-off lands, and thus his image of Asian women is tainted, he sees them as sex objects or exotic novelties.

I don't think this word, with it's proper definition fits every single white high school kid who has a crush on his Asian American classmate, or every white dude that thinks Lucy Liu is a fox.

Being a heterosexual male, I am physically atracted to females. Sure, I find some Asian women atractive, I find a lot of women atractive. Black, white, Asian, Latin, race doesn't matter much to me. If an Asian girl's drop-dead gorgeous, she's drop-dead gorgeous, neither because of or despite where her grandparents were born.

I don't think physical appearance is eveything though. I mean, there's personality, shared interests, etc. A girl can look like a total goddess in a photograph, but if she's a terrible person, she's a terrible person and I really don't want anything to do with her. I'd much rather be with a plain-looking girl with a charming personality and enough in common with me to sustain a conversation than a vision of loveliness who'se shallow and vindictive.

Aquaphile 

Someone who is an enthusiast of all things related to the water. Someone who loves doing anything by the water, on the water or in the water. Much like a cinephile is a film/cinema enthusiast or an audiophile has an ardent interest in stereo & high-fidelity sound reproduction.

If you enjoy sun-bathing, boating, fishing, surfing, stand up paddle boarding, scuba diving, kite boarding, kayaking, swimming, water skiing, beach volleyball, marine life, shelling, riding a jetski, sitting on a dock , swinging in a hammock or drinking margaritas with your toes in the sand, or anything else by the water, on the water or in the water, you are an aquaphile.
