A hippy town or a hippy village is often a small community of free thinkers living a “do it yourself life” often the whole community pay for and share meals. Many times alcohol is not permitted but ganja is a common thing. Some eco-villages also fit this definition.

hippy dust 

Nutritional yeast, esp for sprinkling on popcorn.

I heard it at The Savoy, our local indy-movie theater in Montpelier VT. The user was a young woman, maybe 20 years old. I think she was a little embarassed she had said it out loud in front of me, an old hippy. I now use it regularly; everybody likes it, nobody seems to have heard it., including the guy who now dishes out the popcorn at The Savoy.

hippy chick 

A time warp babe. Found today but obviously has fallen through a rip in the space-time continuum to the sixties and then another back to today. Probably having long hair, dated clothes and possessing a floaty, free-love type of philosophy. Harmless but weird.
