(1) A title used in speech to refer to a specific entity.
Apparently, most users registered on Urban Dictionary have this bizarre obsession of forging definitions about people's names.
And 40% of the time, their definitions are true.

(2) A verb which is used to give an entity an identifiable name.

--- example ---
𝗖𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗲 : "Hey, Tod!"
𝗧𝗼𝗱 : *hastily closes laptop in fear* "H-hey there, Chase!"
𝗖𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗲 : "Are you hiding something from me? If it's porn, it's fine."
𝗧𝗼𝗱 : "It isn't... Uh, see for yourself." *gently opens laptop*
𝗖𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗲 : "Why are you composing a definition about a girl named 'Sophie'?"
𝗧𝗼𝗱 : *sighs* "Yeah... I need help."
𝗖𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗲 : "You really do."

You have to know by now that it has nothing to do with the name. You really need to work on your reading comprehension.
Hym "Would a Hym by anyone other name smell as... Musky? I'm wearing cologne. U don't know what scent this is supposed to be. But you get the point. It has nothing to do with the name... And no you can't have it. Like, there are multiple other layers of 3 factor verification. Thus confusion cime entirely as a result of a faulty conception of what constitutes 'The Self.' I said it before. It's the polyangulation of events and ideas aggregating across a timeline at a specific locality and my 'SELF' is the nexus point of all those factors and from that nexus I generate a 'point of view' that exists only I relationship to my 'self.' It's not my name. It has nothing to do with the name. I'm not changing the name. Me saying that 'there is power in a name' in no way means that if you can get my name you can get the power. You need to let it go. It's too late to do anything now and there is a good chasing that it has been too late to do anything for a while."

The thing you put at the start of a comment replying to someone on Youtube. You don't actually put name in it but you replace it with their username.

Name trolling

The act of listing your first name on Urban Dictionary then describing yourself as a great or desirable person. This lone act is ruining the random search function on UD by replacing real words with stupid, lame-ass self praise. A complete waste of time, these entries should be rejected by UD instead of being added to the list.

Comes from trolling, the annoying act of people posting stupid crap on sites just to get a reaction.
A: Dude, I just did a random search on UD and saw all of these entries for "Katie", "Bob", etc.

B: Yeah, there's a lot of that stupid name trolling on UD now. It's really ruining the site!

A: Totally. Wish someone at UD would do something about this.

Name Shame

To use someone's birth name as a pejorative term. The main example of this is the common birth name Karen which is now used as a synonym for racist/bitch. Since 2020, use of the name Karen has expanded and is now commonly used to insult any woman with whom one disagrees. Women and girls who are actually named Karen have been subject to verbal and physical harassment due to the trend of name shaming.
Here is an example of name shame using the name Karen: "I told that Karen to shut up or I'd hit her in the face again."
