In a club, bar or party where music is played - to be the only one of a group of friends to groove with the music. Lonely Digging may include: tapping your foot, closing one's eyes and nodding your head, moving in your chair and may escalate to be the only one to get up and dance. See 'Digging'.
Usually used positively, as a term of respect to those who are not ashamed to dance.
Lone Digger - of a group of friends, someone who is prone to lonely digging.

Digger Phelps 

An expression of displeasure or annoyance that something has gone horribly. This is based on the idea that Digger Phelps not only is a complete tool of a man, but when it comes to basketball, couldn't analyze his way out of a damp sheep.

The word 'Digger' is completely interchangeable with the word 'Fuck'. In times of over the top levels of failure, Digger Fucking Phelps may be used, abbreviated as DFP for texting.
