Effing A

1. Even though it's real meaning is "fucking ass", it is mostly used when telling someone "Damn right"

2. It is also used to tell someone that you did not just get what they said, but you're pretending to get it. This would be used with a questioning tone of voice.

3. Also, it can be used to diss someone. In this case, "effing a" would mean "fucking asshole". While saying this, it could aslo mean "what the hell" at the same time.

4. The term really started being used after it was on the movie "Dodgeball".

1. Girl,"I want you to fuck me."
Guy,"Effing a!"

2. Girl,"I was so like, oh my gosh, awesome at that thing a couple days ago and like it was so just ya."
Guy,"Effing a?"

3. Guy 1,"haha, I did your girlfriend last night hommie."
Guy 2,"dude, effing a."

4. Cotton,"That was sure amazing!"
Pepper,"Effing a Cotton, effing a!"

Effing and Blinding 

To let forth a torrant of obscenities and give vent to a stream of profanities. Quite simply, have a bloody good swear.

In the kitchen, grandad had stubbed his toe and all round the house, one could hear the old man effing and blinding. The vicar turned quite crimson.

Effing and Jeffing

A variation on the term "Effing and Blinding", meaning to swear or curse profusely. Used in the North of England, notably by one Karl Pilkington in an episode of the Ricky Gervais Show.

Karl: I've just slagged off that octopus, but at no point was I effing and jeffing about it.

When you realize that something is so amazing and has so much potential, but you decide not to use a real swear word as an adjective and are polite about screaming it out.

Did you hear the effing amazing news? Justin Bieber said that he likes Joel so there's a chance that their relationship could progress.

a phrase used to add emphesis right after something bad or not good occurs; you can say it in replace of the word "fuck" (ex. fuck, my cell broke!)

effing awesome 

When you go to a ridiculously popular, high quality restaurant (that normally has a waiting list, and doesn't take reservations for small parties) expecting to wait an hour and you get seated immediately.

We walked into the restaurant, expecting to wait for an hour like we normally do, but we got seated stat - effing awesome.
