A person who is completely clueless when it comes to operating any piece of technology more advanced than a standard toaster and usually breaks or otherwise totally screws up that device in ways never anticipated by the manufacturer.

1.) A person who calls a Help Desk of any company who starts off a sentence with, "I am not computer savvy/literate." 2.) An individual who couldn't operate a PC with a quick start manual. 3.) A computer programmer with no hardware skills.

Phil is such a technotard!! He can program VB scripts in a heartbeat but can't even defrag his HDD!!

technotard 

I am a self-confessed technotard. In spite of lacking the technology gene which would allow me to easily absorb, apply and master new technological skills, I am slowly being dragged, kicking and screaming, into the technological age.

Against all odds, I have accomplished setting up a Facebook page, although I still cannot master the skill requirement to make an FB Fan page go live. That would require DNA reprogramming. Incredibly, however, I have managed to upload photos and video to my FB Fan page--now if only I could figure out how to let other people see them! If I get any better at this, I might have to turn in my technotard membership card.
