americanime

Americanime is an American cartoon with visual art influenced by Japanese animation, also known as anime. It's mostly a fad; cartoonists exploiting the recent popularity that anime has gotten in North America in the past decade or so.

It has the thin veneer of anime, but the characters, plots, and dialogue all lack the depth and clever writing of their Japanese cousin, and the stories are all episodic (with one of the exceptions being Avatar perhaps. That Americanime rivals its Japanese counterparts in writing.) In other words, it's a kid's cartoon that is drawn like an anime.
I hate that Americanime shit. It's a boring fad and doesn't hold a candle to true anime.

americanime

A North American cartoon that attempts to mimic or copy japanese anime style, due to the increasing popularity of anime in North America. The characters are drawn similarily to usual anime, but the eyes are simpler. The characters' personality also attempt to mimic the exaggerated way anime characters act, and come off just looking dumb.
Person A: I love Totally Spies and Martin Mystery! The drawing style is so cool!
Person B: God, I hate that dumb americanime. It's just North Americans trying to rip-off regular good ol' anime.

Americanime

Trash Crap... It is trash.
It is the worst unoriginal idea of the world. WE ARE AMERICAN, NO NIPON/COREAN O ANYBODY.
We had original style, the ability of create new things, but the anime make a brainwash to the nowadays animators and cartoonist. I cant believe it. We are losing we american soul.
You can see which they made to the looney toons.
They cancel unlimited SpiderMan ç
They cancel Invader Zimand the angry beavers.
They eliminate Pepper Ann and Doug of Toon Disney.
They are here, and they are taking our minds. And I'm crying while the mind of our children are in a corruptization with demoniatic-mosters cards and commercial stuff.
Americanime. The lost of our souls. the commercialization of our dreams to stupid "cards and videogame"seller anime.

Americanime

An American cartoon that plays out like a Japanese anime (Steven Universe, Avatar, Samurai Jack). In order for a show to be considered an Americanime it must follow these rules
1. The show must be from The United States
2. It must be influenced by Japanese Anime (Death Note, Bleach, Naruto, Etc.)
3. It must be animated
4. It must have action of some kind

5. It must have a beach episode

Americanimes got popular in the 2000s with Samurai Jack, Jackie Chan Adventures, and Avatar: The Last Airbender. But the first one to get the Americanime title was Batman: The Animated Series. So it got started in the 90s

Americanism

An Americanism is a word, phrase or expression, commonly used in the United States, that has managed to escape from America to pollute the wider English language.

Radical Americanisation

The spread to the rest of the world, particularly western nations, of the 'look at me' type of social behaviour perpetuated (and often glamourised) on US centrered social media. Examples can include when non US citizens use the American Constitution, FDA rulings, etc as a cornerstone for shaping their views on the internal goings on in their own countries, common crutch relied on by people many would consider 'conspiracy theorists' and others seeking validation through moral superiority.
"It's kind of sad how everyone is unfriending Ludwig" "Yes, his radical Americanisation has made him unbearable to be around. Who cares if the FDA has approved it or not? We live in Germany."
