Famspreading 

A family consisting of parents and several children who walk next to each other in congested areas, forcing individual pedestrians to re-direct their paths, or blocking doors, exits, lines and elevators.

"I couldn't get to the spa at the Marriott, because there was a family with 3 kids Famspreading so badly in the elevator lobby I couldn't get through!"

When a woman takes up more room than is strictly necessary on public transport.

"Excuse me madam, would you mind not fanspreading, it makes me feel uncomfortable"

The art of women spreading their bags and other carried items on a bus or a train. Often taking up more than one seat and causing discomfort to other passengers.

I wanted to sit down on the bus but there was a woman who was femspreading all over the seats.

When a woman puts her purse or bag on the adjacent seat on a train or a bus to her to stop people from sitting next to her.

When a family or group of friends spreads out in a walkway so that others cannot pass them.

Oh great, another family is fam spreading, now we have to walk slowly behind them.

Ma'amspreading

The female version of manspreading . Done mostly by women who are not concerned with being lady-like. May also apply in cases where women block a seat with her bags/purse.

Excuse me lady, but could you stop ma'amspreading and let me sit down?
