amygdala

one of the COOLEST anatomy words ever created.

Commonly known as a very distinct DEATH CALL.

the part of your brain that gives you fears and anxieties.
The fear-some three-some cried out, "AMYGDALA!!!" as they lunged from the bushes and slaughtered every human soul around.

"HAHAHAHAHA!!!!" we laughed, "Your amygdala has so many things going through it that you just shit yourself!"

Amydilly

adj. a word used to describe a couple or relationship pairing that is unpredictably perfect for one another. The couple in your friendship circle are each other's best friends and also partners for life. You wouldn't have thought of bringing them together as a couple, but when you do, the matchmaking is perfect, the stars align and you say to yourself "damn, how did we not put these two together?! That's just so amydilly!". Their relationship is like a soft-serve ice cream and hot chips. On it's own, ice cream is amazing. On it's own, hot chips are amazing. But put the two together, life is just so much better and you just know that the best years are truly ahead.
This valentine's day, I want to find me that amydilly love.

Oh my gosh, those two are just so adorable. They're like the ultimate amydilly duo.

The only thing that would make those two more amydilly, is if their names were Amy and Fadilly.

A kind of melancholic trance in which you become completely observed in vivid sensory details-‘raindrops skittering down a window, tall trees leaning in the wind, clouds of cream swirling in your coffee’-briefly soaking in the experience of being alive, an act that is done purely for its own sake

Origins: From albedo, a physics term that describes the proportion of light reflected by a substance (from Latin, 'whiteness'). Ambedo refers to the tendency both to reflect and to absorb. So add the prefix ambi, 'both' -and we have a new word, ambedo. Ambedo is also a Latin word meaning "I gnaw" or "I weather away."
“Today I find myself caught in a state of ambedo as I watch the world around me.”
