Eating the Raspberry

The act of intentionally harming or appearing to harm oneself in order to test if others would save them.

The phrase comes from the film The Roses, in which one character eats a raspberry she is allergic to to test if her husband would save her.

I decided to try eating the raspberry by dropping in front of my dog to see what he'd do.

Suitarianism

A diet in which pork is the only source of meat in an otherwise vegetarian diet.

Suitarianism is largely hypothetical, but I could see it existing as some sort of rebellion against religions that restrict pork.

Bovitarianism is largely hypothetical. It's difficult to imagine someone who loves burgers but draws the line at fish.
