When we get mad, our rational prefrontal lobes shut down and the reflexive back areas of the brain take over. The left hemisphere also becomes more stimulated as the brain’s hormonal and cardiovascular responses kick in.
A tense body pumps out cholesterol and a group of chemicals called catecholamines, which encourage fatty deposits to pile up in the heart and carotid arteries. It’s no surprise, then, that angry people are three times more likely to have a heart attack than those less prone to fury

In short, sapiosexual can be defined as someone who is attracted to the intelligence that another person displays. In other words, sapiosexuals are aroused by smart people. Interestingly enough, though someone can be physically attractive, if they appear to be "empty-headed," so to speak, then it's an instant turn-off to the sapiosexual. When it comes to sapiosexuals, it's what's on the inside that matters the most. You could be the best-looking person in the room, but a sapiosexual will only be interested in you if you meet their standards in terms of intelligence.

They were videogame programmers, artists, level builders, artificial-intelligence experts. Their team was—finally—giving up, declaring defeat, and disbanding. So they headed down to the lobby of their building in Garland, Texas, to smile for the camera. They arranged themselves on top of their logo: a 10-foot-wide nuclear-radiation sign, inlaid in the marble floor. To videogame fans, that logo is instantly recognizable. It's the insignia of Duke Nukem 3D, a computer game that revolutionized shoot-'em-up virtual violence in 1996. The team quickly began work on that sequel, Duke Nukem Forever, and it became one of the most hotly anticipated games of all time.
Duke Nukem Lierop was From what he'd seen of it, Duke Nukem Forever was so well developed — and so graphically superior to any other game in production — that if 3D Realms pushed hard for a year, they could release it and "blow everyone out of the water." No, no, Broussard replied. It was two years out. Van Lierop was stunned. "I thought, 'Wow, how many times have you been here, near the finish line, and you thought you were way out?'"

Have you ever found that you just can’t stop thinking about someone—what they did or said, and how bewildered or hurt you felt by their actions? When someone hurts us, our children, or someone we love; gossips behind our back; or simply acts in ways that confound us, we can focus on it for hours or days. We’re washing dishes, driving, or walking the dogs, and we can’t stop thinking about how the things the person said were unkind, untrue and self-centered; their image and their words keep resurfacing. Five hours, five days, five weeks later, there they are: We see the person's face in front of us, even if we haven’t seen them in person during this time.
Imh (in my head) all day

To become the master of your destiny, you must learn to control the nature of your dominant, habitual thoughts. By doing so, you will be able to attract into your life that which you intend to have and experience as you come to know the Truth that your thoughts create your reality.
