The father of Raditz and Goku (Kakarot). Bardock shares Goku's aptitude for battle and limitless capacity, despite being a "low-level" soldier. Bardock's wife is never referenced or mentioned in any of the dragonball movies or series. His name is a pun on the burdock herb.
Bardock gains psychic powers from a planet where he and his crew recently eradicated an entire race. The last survivor gives the power to his him as a gift so that he can see his son's future, and the fate of his planet and himself. He sees visions of his son growing up to be a good person, planet Vegeta being destroyed, and Goku defeating Frieza.

Bardock is one of the few saiyans to have gone to outer space and breathe normally, while fighting Frieza and his men.
In the Budokai Tenkaichi games, if Bardock fights Dodoria, Zarbon or Cooler, he states "I'll take you down and then Frieza!".
# It is likely that Bardock was the most powerful lower-class Saiyan soldier of his time. Near the time of his death, Bardock was rumored to have a power level of nearly 10,000, which is said to rival that of King Vegeta.

Get the Bardock mug.The creator of Majin Buu, and Babidi's father. He, his son, and Majin Buu's names are a pun on the name of an incantation in the 1950 film Cinderella, "bibbidi-bobbidi-boo".
Bibidi is the only character in the series to somewhat have control over Kid Buu. He was the only person Kid Buu didn't kill (although he attempted to once), even though Bibidi was constantly barking orders at him. Under Bibidi's command, Kid Buu killed the Northern Supreme Kai and Western Supreme Kai, and attacked the remaining Supreme Kais (absorbing Southern Supreme Kai and Daikaioh in the process, turning into Fat Buu as a result).

Get the Babidi mug.One of the major villains from the dragonball universe. He was created by Dr. Gero (later dubbed android 20), and was created to incorporate all the cells of the best fighters in the universe. By weaving all their cells together from each fighter, he is able to inherit their abilities and fighting techniques. Like Frieza, he has the ability to survive anywhere, like Piccolo, he can regenerate his anatomy if his core is not damaged (in his case, one cell is enough to regenerate from), Vegeta's fighting genius, and attitude, Goku's natural aptitude for fighting, and the young but powerful Gohan.
Cell cannot reach his full potential until he absorbs Android 17 and Android 18. Once he does, they are permanently integrated into his design, giving him great power. Once he absorbs them, even if he loses android 17 or 18's body, he is still able to retain his perfect power (prior to exploding) after blowing himself up, leaving one cell he can regenerate from, and giving him a zenkai increase, making his power substantially greater, enough to kill Future Trunks with one blow, and power that rivals that of Super Saiyan 2 Gohan.
Cell cannot reach his full potential until he absorbs Android 17 and Android 18. Once he does, they are permanently integrated into his design, giving him great power. Get the Cell mug.Master Roshi, and Master Shen's master. He saved the world from King Piccolo by using the Mafuba (Evil Containment Wave in the English dub), and dies because of it. He meets with Goku in the past as part of his training, but Goku is no match for him. This is curious seeing how Goku was able to defeat King Piccolo prior to his training, and Master Mutaito is no match for King Piccolo despite this. It may be his superior fighting technique and Goku's lack of mental discipline that make him able to beat him.
