do time

1. Serve a prison sentence.

2. Serve a hitch in the military, especially if drafted.

3. Get grounded.
After spending most of his teen years doing time (3) for the rents, the kid couldn't wait, so he upped and did time (2) as soon as he could. That got old, so he split before his time was up, got caught, did some time (1) in the big house, and still had to do the rest of his time when he got out. It was getting to be a habit.

conflict of interest

A financial, emotional, reputational, or other personal interest in any matter held by a person having authority over the same matter. Tking advantage of authority over such a self-serving personal interest may be considered criminal. At the very least, it is usually harmful to others.
Most legislators either already have been, or eventually become lawyers, so they abuse their conflict of interest over legislation to make sure that laws are conducive to the job security of lawyers and legislators.

Windows Downdate

The most prolific source of computer trojans online, frequently euphemized as Windows Update.
Windows Downdate frequently prompts the user to "update" Windows/MSN Messenger to version 4.7 even though version 6 or 7 is already installed.

After installing SP2, Windows Downdate wanted me to update a bunch of things that I updated before SP2, so I don't know if SP2 downdated them, or if Windows Downdate wanted to downdate them after SP2 updated them.

pyramid scheme

A fraudulent business model, illegal in most places, in which participants are paid to recruit more participants, rather than commissions on sales.

Frequently passed off as Multi-Level Marketing by incorporating sales of an unmarketable product or service into the scheme. In such cases, participants are usually required to maintain a monthly purchase quota to qualify for payments.
Pyramid schemes market to prospective participants while Multi-Level Marketing plans market to prospective consumers. Pyramid schemes fail because scam participants are not a viable market. Most of the participants pay more money to participate than they receive for participating because there aren't enough suckers left to recruit.

Once the suckers figure that out and quit paying into the scheme, those who recruited them start losing money too, and then they quit. The scam shrivels even faster than it grew.

pedaphile

Yet another way to misspell pedophile for the purpose of childishly defining someone as a pedophile and slipping it past UrbanDictionary editors.
Generally, people who write pedaphile really mean pedosexual.

Folsom

1. A much-maligned burb of Sacramento. It is the locale of the Folsom State Prison, which, contrary to a daffynition written by a prospective inmate from Hellay, is not named Pelican Bay.

2. A location in New Mexico near which the Folsom Man and Folsom Point were discovered. The man lived during an ice age, and the point is considered to be the most advanced stone age spear point ever discovered.

3. A community in Louisiana from which a serial arsonist waged a campaign of at least 70 arsons.
1. I'm not sure why peeps whine so much about Folsom, when Sacratormento is so close. Is it because their Daddies are in the slammer, or is it because their Daddies work at the slammer and come home every night and take out their frustrations on them?

2. When archaeologists found a Folsom Point embedded in the bone of a woolly mammoth, they were finally able to prove that man lived during the ice age.

3. It's not like Louisiana had enough problems after Katrina, is it? They had to have a serial arsonist too.
