In Russian prison slang - an openly homosexual, or victim of prison rape. Convict could be declared "petookh" for serious violation of prison laws, or for just being looking too good.
Literally means "rooster". Same as "opushchennyi"

According to unwritten prison laws, someone who caught stealing from inmates, failed to pay debt, or served as police informant, inevitably end up as petookh

Form of corruption or bribery. A facilitated payment to the government official or corporate executive officer, to sign the contract with preferred supplier . As part of corrupted scheme, supplier may inflate the invoice for goods or services, and give part of it to the government or corporate official as "kickback". It's common form of bribery in civil engineering and road construction business
