nonconformist

A person who refuses to be a "conformist sheep", but usually just ends up conforming to a different standard than most people. In the 1950s, the "nonconformists" were the beakniks, in the 1960s there were hippies, in the 1970s freakers came along, in the 1980s punks and goths emerged as the new standard of nonconformity, etc.

STAN: "How do I become a nonconformist?"

GOTH KID: "You have to dress the same way we do, and listen to the same kind of music we like."

ALF

Animal Liberation Front. Basically an even more extremist version of PETA, the ALF places the lives of animals on or above the same level as human life. They routinely commit criminal acts such as arson, breaking and entering, and vandalism for their cause.

The ALF extremists relased a batch of infected monkeys into the city, causing an epidemic among the local population.

yellow fever

1. A term usually applied to white males who have a clear sexual preference for women of asian descent, although it can also be used in reference to white females who prefer asian men.

2. An infectuous tropical disease carried by mosquitoes.

"Every time we go to the club, Dave goes straight for the asian women. I swear, that dude's got a serious case of yellow fever."

james bond

Fictional British secret agent created by writer Ian Fleming in the 1950s. In 1962 the first Bond movie, Dr. No, was released. As of 2004 there have been 20 Bond movies (even more than that if you count the "unofficial" Bond movies like Casino Royale and Never Say Never Again) released, with even more in production. Bond is known all over the world for using cool gadgets, driving fast cars, romancing beautiful women, and drinking vodka martinis (shaken, not stirred). Women want him, and men want to be him.
