A joke, usually long, with a silly premise, often involving talking animals. Named for a classic joke involving a lost shaggy dog. Punch line: "Not that shaggy!"

The joke ended with "and that goes for your cat, too!" Just another shaggy dog story.

2. An exhibitionist who flashes his prong to the astonished onlookers; a weenie waver.

1. That flag waver was embezzling from the Defense Department while claiming to support the troops.
