Home-basing

Instead of calling it being lazy… we shall call it home-basing.

Because that is a verb, people.

And your family appreciates you just taking up space sometimes.

I am going to indulge in some lazy home-basing this Sunday. The kids will be stopping in and out for snacks and the neighbors might pop in for quick visits. Maybe I’ll catch up laundry and make cookies… I don’t know.

Demotional Augmentation

When you are offered a job that pays better than your previous job, yet has fewer responsibilities.

Lady : "They flew me to San Diego with an expense account, interviewed me and offered double my current rate for half the responsibilities."

Friend: "Girl, grab that job offer! It isnt every day you get a demotional augmentation."
