fuzzy

the quality of a certain type of audible distortion on certain kick drum samples. can have an indication that the distortion affects bitdepth. but can also be a type of overdrive.

the kick drum had a distinct fuzzy distortion on the low end.

more intense-sounding.

used in music production terminology to mean a more intense, perhaps even more aggressive bassline and/or kick drum/snare

a hard trance kick with lots of energy.

a pattern of notes in a musical composition which support the main melodies and harmonies. often a sawtooth in electronica.

Bright

the light, but brilliant quality of the high notes of the orchestra. full of power, shrill, piercing.

the piccolo sounded quite bright as it made its entrance over the cellos.

half a second, or 500 milliseconds.

one eigth note every semisecond would be the same as a quarter note per second, or 60 beats per minute.

Audialize

I coined this word myself. Means the same thing as the word "visualize" except instead of visuals, it's auditory information.

"now if I audialize that sound, I can hear it in my mind and make sense of what is happening."
