Atheist

To simply define it, an atheist is just someone who doesn’t believe in the existence of a higher power. We’re not people who believe in things like an afterlife, deities, prayers, religious rituals, etc. A normal atheist has no real problem with other people being religious or spiritual, so long as they keep that to themselves and don’t try to force others to adapt to their beliefs.
I am an atheist. When I was about 12 years old, I realized that there is no such thing as a higher power, nor do we go anywhere after we die. Everything is stored in your brain, and when your brain ceases to function that’s the end of you. You just return to the same state of non-existence that existed before you were born.

This is that Urban Dictionary says after you submit a definition to their website for community review. It’s now always very honest when it says this, because several people have had many definitions take weeks to finally be approved, and some just never make it onto the website, even if they follow the guidelines.
“Your definition will be reviewed soon,” is a dubious statement.

The 2020s

The 2020s are the current decade, as of writing. They have generally been a rough time for humanity, defined by war, disease, political division, and the rise of generative AI.
We are living through the 2020s. As of when I am writing this, Wednesday, July 9th, 2025, we are living closer to the 2030s than we are to the 2010s.

Mug

What I have on my desk next to me, as of writing, that I use to store pencils and pens. It’s also something that Urban Dictionary is advertising below this definition, as well as all others on the website.
A mug can also be used to store a beverage, usually coffee.

Online Safety Act

Some stupid ass act put together by the British Parliament that requires their citizens to submit an ID in order to access basically anything on the internet now. It all started with some 18+ websites requiring ID verification because too many parents don't want to monitor what their kids do online, or teach their proper internet safety, and now, it's gotten to the point that their government requires them to submit a driving license in order to access Wikipedia and Spotify. There's all kinds of gaslighting going on from officials due to the controversy of this act, such as stating that those against it are "on the sides of child groomers." Don't believe any of the crap these out of touch assholes have to say.
The Online Safety Act was never about protecting kids. It's about keeping track of who's doing what online, and using that information to suppress dissent. If the Parliament really cared about protecting kids, they'd teach online safety in public schools, arrest people on the Epstein list, or deport or imprison migrants accused to sex crimes against kids.

ChatGPT

ChatGPT is a generative AI chatbot, developed by OpenAI, that was released in late 2022. It uses language learning models to detect patterns in human writing, across millions, if not billions, of human-created texts, in order to predict what is the appropriate order of words for a given prompt in order to generate a response. Although ChatGPT, and really any language learning model, has the potential to be used to improve one's writing by running original content through it in order to get ideas for improvements, it is sadly primarily used by students in order to just create a response to assignments in school that they don't feel like doing. Similar practices are commonplace in a lot of workplaces and research institutions now, and this has lead to a phenomeon known as "AI brainrot."
ChatGPT trains itself on human-created content, often without the permission of the original creators.
