The bubbly girl was a poser that lied about every aspect of who she was and her life to make herself (her image) look put upon, like an underdog instead of a bully (since some people might unwittingly support or defend her that way, not realizing there was a reason she was an outcast).

Get the Posermug. That group of guys with the beer muscles thought they had almost killed somebody they were trying to persecute, since beer muscles can throw somebody's sense of reality off. They didn't even really black the guy's eyes, he just had a bloody nose and that was about it. You would think as many times as they hit the guy, they would have been able to really fuck him up badly, then he really would have been lucky to be alive.

The girl that thought she was Chyna, the pro wrestler, the one blocking the stairway and loudly asking everyone that wasn't out there with her what the hell is going on wasn't doing anything physically clumsy, but was still making the same kind of chaotic environment that somebody would make if they were stumbling around. Not everybody gets that way after a few drinks, so she must be a lightweight.

Roberta Ford was always hiding in the bushes pretending to be hunting big game with a bow and arrow as a kid. In high school she shot another girl in the back of the head with a crossbow from the bleachers at a swim meet, thinking it would make her look badass or get her a badass image on TV. She was never right in the head.

A surface matter for the power struggle beneath the surface between the people trying to keep pulling the strings of the rest of the population that get their strings pulled right into a testing line or a vaccine line (or a slaughterhouse line for that matter, since a slaughterhouse is where sheep go).
The coronavirus was something that would get people's attention and distract them from continuing to fight what they were really fighting.
