They would cry when they saw the white guy because they knew that he was going to give them the blues again.

There he is, he's going to make brown people fuckin miserable today, well really he's going to make everybody fuckin miserable, even his own kind.

wildfire 

Discouraging as it may get, a wildfire can be put out or even told to go fuck itself.

If New Yorkers didn't tell the wildfire go fuck itself, if they looked the gift horse in the mouth and let it parade around their streets, they were going to end up overrrun by it one day, and the strange soldiers arriving/hiding inside it (male or female) were just a little too nerdy as kids for New Yorkers to allow this kind of takeover to happen.

A heart made of wood, like in the Hank Williams Jr. song.

The wooden Indian had a pineheart and a red face, someone must have pulled it's pants halfway down.

Coining 

Thinking up words that don't already exist.

That was a lot like plagiarized Bill Maher without good sense mixed with plagiarized Goodfellas, I've seen the show and the movie it came from. I'd ask if you had any thoughts of your own on the matter, but look at the kinds of words you're coining.

Unrealistic expectations 

Expectations that shouldn't be but are.

This rock band Solence has unrealistic expectations of their audience, they are daring the audience to come and beat them up. Not only does it not make sense to dare a bunch of people you never met (that you would otherwise have no problem with) and who have never met you (and would otherwise have no problem with you) to come and beat you up. The logistics of it alone for them to locate these guys based on what time they're going to be where and trying to pinpoint them even though the audience members trying to do all this stuff have to work the next day, it's an unrealistic expectation and the band knows it when they write lyrics like that. What kind of audience member has time to go find and beat up some band member they never met?

Home 

Somewhere you'll never need a welcome from somebody else.

He/she was home, and it didn't really matter whether some outsider wanted him/her there or not, he/she was there to stay no matter how inflammatory the outsider tried to get with him/her. The outsider could get out and never come back, since it was too goddamn bad if the outsider didn't like him/her being home.

He/she was home, so there was nobody there that could make him/her not belong there.
