As long as he sees another record to break (oldest quarterback in NFL history), he's likely to try and break it before he retires, based on the way he does things. This talk of retirement and changing of the guard by vicious people is just talk, since some people have already tried to talk Cam Newton into retiring (trying to convince him that he's already over the hill) and he's over a decade younger than Tom Brady, just now reaching the average age of an NFL quarterback. Tom Brady is not everybody's favorite quarterback, but he hasn't changed, he still plays like he's in his 20's. Besides a change of guard some people seem to want to see badly, there's nothing keeping Tom Brady or any other quarterback from playing as long as he wants to until he is ready to move on to the next chapter of his life on his own terms, not if it is what they truly love to do. You don't let people talk you out of doing something you love, that doesn't do anybody around you any good, it doesn't make anybody stronger.
Not everybody is going to like or agree with everything about the legacy of Tom Brady, but even the people that want a new guard rushed in, if they are being honest with themselves, are curious about how far the wheels can go before they fall off, and they know deep down that they aren't falling off yet, they're not done yet. They might even have a long way to go still, a lot of mileage to add. Tom Brady nearly pulled off another Super Bowl LI yesterday, it just went the other way this time on being decided by a field goal. The guy wasn't in his 40's for Super Bowl LI, and yet nothing about his playing has changed since then, he's still the same person, and there's not going to be a point where playing against his team is going to be an easy task.

People had missed the way that people once respected one another no matter what they looked like, and it was a lot to ask everyone to abandon that all so that one dork could get all the respect she thought everyone in a town she wasn't even originally from owed her. She was more like the girl that moved from somewhere almost like Pleasantville (except not in the 1950's) to the nearest mid-sized city and thought that she was there to save everyone from Pleasantville (of the 1950's), when really she was the closest thing to Pleasantville left and didn't even know it. She thought she was on the cutting edge of feminism or civil rights and was a champion of it in much the same way that Jim Jones thought he was a champion of civil rights in his own life altering disruptive way. Jim Jones was also from a small town before moving to a mid sized city claiming to "enlighten" them all and save them from themselves, and he wasn't making anything better or stronger by being there.

William's eldest daughter was a natural tomboy, she was always close to her father as a kid and enjoyed doing stuff with him, but his youngest daughter Caindace, who seemed to be as much of a tomboy on the surface as her sister, was actually one strange kid beneath the surface, always trying to turn peace talks into arguments where somebody fought or ended up getting shot dead, always claiming self defense, always looking for a scapegoat, someone she saw as ahead of her in line to assassinate to become the first in line, even if it was her own brothers or sisters that she had to get rid of to walk all over their corpses. She was the kind of Reptilian boy girl that went mostly unnoticed, while everyone seemed to be paying attention to/suspicious of the male Reptilian boy girls.

Like selling lemonade, except without the lemonade, imagination, or even pretense of actually giving anybody anything in exchange for the dollar signs seen and taken.
Some of those guys/girls panhandling weren't really broke, he/she actually has more money than you and lives like a king or queen when nobody is looking, but wants attention when they are looking. Some of them have already taken enough from people without the panhandling to try and insult their intelligence.

Someone that gets on social media to post about "living" by showing off a picture of themself climbing a hill or doing something else that makes them look "active", then rants about other people that use social media to talk about life, even though they're on social media themselves.
If living is what that poseur is doing, I don't want any part of it. I like my life the way it is, and if the poseur has anything to say directly to anybody that he/she has deemed more passive than him/her, why doesn't he/she?

To most people, it was mundane and went unnoticed, but people could at least count on it to be mundane and unnoticed.

If your real family isn't present, a tribe is kind of like family. If you've had family present for everything great you've done, everything great that happened to you in life, then they're not there, it's an adjustment, it's new territory. You're the same person with a part of you that was there gone, a piece of the puzzle missing. Not everything is about putting together a puzzle, everything happens for a reason. Sometimes two trains start going different directions and it's hard to tell which direction you're going, it's not a negative feeling.
