Its bad when a group of people made the English and French look brave in the American Revolution by letting them do all the fighting in a war for independence from European control. Its not called Dutch courage for nothing.

French guy-Your courage is such Dutch courage.
Dutch guy-Well, there was blood everywhere and I was too high to fight.
French guy-Like I said your courage is such Dutch courage.
Dutch guy-Im gonna pretend you didn't say that, I'm a lovable guy.
French guy-You have too much Dutch courage to be a lovable guy. You're a fucking coward, not a pet.

Slave driver 

A slave driver nowadays is any definition you bullshit people into reading.

Dan and Jim assumed Bill wanted them to do some things he wanted to get done, so they went ahead and did it and bitched about Bill being a slave driver. They also assumed he was a slave driver based on what he looked like. They didn't find out until later he didn't want anything from them, not their help, not their presence, they didn't want to be around him and he didn't want them around him either, even though he never gave any indication he wanted them around.

John isn't popular because he has a lot of friends at school, he's the kind of popular people play him up as when they assume his ego is growing when he hears the bullshit people tell him about himself, especially the flattering bullshit.

Mailbox

It's unwise to practice or do something like a mailbox on somebody you're not on good terms with. Not everybody is playing like you are, know that before attempting stupidity.

Turns out the guy they thought was the new guy was not looking to get in on any games they were playing, including mailbox, or get accepted as one of them. He had had many other people in his younger years who thought he was somebody to fool around with, including a mollycoddle at home .
