The incident was really over the cop thinking the female had let her sideburns grow out too long, and he smacked her down because he thought she was too tall for him.

Roadhouse

One difference between the flea market arrest and the movie roadhouse is that nobody in the flea market was drinking, or there to drink. Another difference is nobody was there to get rowdy or throw beer bottles.

Treating everything in life like a scene from roadhouse is going to get resistance, since not everything in life is a scene from roadhouse.

Business 

One difference between a business and a residence, though both are usually owned by one or several people, is that people dont usually buy a commercial building with the intention of living in it, and people dont usually buy a residence with the intention of selling goods or services from it. Of course the owner/ proprietor of the business makes the decisions of who comes in and who goes, they own it, nobody else really has the right to make the decision but them, but a business is not the same as a residence, it has a different purpose. Looking after goods is not the same thing as looking after a family.

People know when they invest in a business that it's not the same thing as buying a home.

Totalitarian 

When the state is totally in control of most people's lives, though there will always be a few the state doesn't control, which makes what the state says about not totally being in control somewhat true, even if it's mostly bullshit.

The country was a totalitarian state.
