a revived meme word, originally used in a post on an anonymous forum post on 4chan, with a picture of a touhou character, it was about "rembering" happy days. Earliest use was in December of 2012.

The meme was revived after another post modernist engrish meme was made, "I forgor" and was often paired with it in the form of playing The Caretaker's "Everywhere at the End of Time" while displaying the afformentioned "I forgor" with a skull emoji, and then playing the original sample of "Heartaches" while displaying "I rember" with a smile emoji. This was shared about Tik-Tok, Discord and Snapchat.
