Metho

Australian and British slang for a person addicted to drinking methylated spirits (denatures alcohol, for the Yanks reading this.) They would mix in orange juice (used to kill the taste) and often fall into incoherent rants and ramblings that make those of methamphetamine users seem coherent by comparison. They did, however, make much more sense than the rants of many of the talking heads found on Sky News and other cable channels operated by the Murdoch Apparat.

They were quite often found in local parks and places like Fortitude Valley in Brisbane, Queensland.

Cockroach 

Resident of the Australian State of New South Wales. The term was created by the residents of the Australian State of Queensland in retaliation for a sports article by a Sydney-based journalist describing the Queensland Rugby League State of Origin team as advancing as relentlessly as cane toads. In response it was stated that the New South Wales team had scattered like cockroaches hit with a spray of Baygon ( an insect spray) and the term stuck.

This year we shall utterly defeat those cockroaches!

The Rubber Van 

A subclass of the 4chan Party Van. It is usually deployed with a crew trained in capturing lunatics and taking them to the nut house aka the Funny Farm.

"Oh, dear, Kimmo's at it again. Has someone called for them to sent The Rubber Van around to collect him?"

Scovid 

Nickname for Scott Morrison, the Prime Minister of Australia (as of the time of writing).
Given in mockery of his signing himself "ScoMo" on Twitter for his incompetent handling of the COVID-19 pandemic response in Australia/

I see Scovid is, once again, earning his nicknames. Those being Scovid and ScuMo.

Toading 

A traditional summer evening sport in many areas of the Australian State of Queensland.

This involves hunting the Cane Toad, one of the most revolting and toxic animals God saw fit to create, and one that the inhabitants of Queensland have a distinct love/hate relationship with. Traditional implements used to hunt cane toads include cricket bats, football boots, and 5-irons and drivers. Home-made cannons, built from steam pipe and mounted on dead lawnmower chassis, have been known to be employed in some of Queensland's regional areas in toading, as well as SUVs.

All in all, an activity that individuals, groups and families can enjoy.
